Scotney Castle - May Workshop

from £80.00

The workshop will start with a Zoom meeting on the evening of the 18th Sept where we will introduce ourselves and discuss what will happen during the workshop.

Starting at 8 in the morning we will have 2 hours to ourselves before the grounds are open to the general public. Starting by the manor house we will work our way down to the castle, weather permitting we may even be treated to mist on the water. Seamus will be on hand to offer guidance on composition and camera settings helping you to achieve the desired results you are looking for.

At 11:30 we will make our way back to the house where we will have lunch, if Covid restrictions have been lifted you will be able to buy lunch in the tearooms or you can bring your own lunch. Seamus will be available during lunch to review the images you have produced and for constructive advice to be given. If you are able to upload your images to your laptop/iPad please do as this will make reviewing a more useful exercise.

At 1:00 we will return to the grounds for another couple hours of shooting, or reshooting, taking on board the advice given.

The workshop will finish at approximately 4 after which you are welcome to continue shooting in the grounds.

On the evening of the 20th Sept we will have another Zoom meeting where we will discuss the images taken, offering advice on post processing.

Please note that you can not use the images taking on the workshop for commercial use and will be required to fill out a non-commercial agreement form for the National Trust. Non-compliance with this means you will not be taking part in the workshop and will not be refunded your fee.

If you pay the discounted workshop fee for NT Members you must bing your Membership Card with you and be able to present it upon request.
