In an effort to move away from the Black & White flower photos I was best known for, shot almost exclusively on Polaroid Type 55 film and printed on Kodak Ektalure paper in the darkroom, I started shooting colour flowers in a square aspect ratio. The more I shot the more I came to realise I was subconsciously creating geometric shapes within the square format. Which eventually lead to the Square flowers within the square format.
